Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Friday sent a wreath to the bier of Kang Jong Ho, winner of Kim Jong Il Prize, Labor Hero and People's Artist who is deputy to the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and director of the Art Studio of the Korean People's Army, to express deep condolences over his death.
Kang, who grew up to be an experienced creation-guidance official in the field of fine art of the People's Army under the care of the Party, had made a tangible contribution to creating the art pieces depicting the leader and positively contributed to enriching the treasure house of Juche-oriented fine art for nearly five decades by creating a number of art pieces of national treasure.
The wreath was placed before the bier of the deceased. -0-
