Marshal KIM JONG UN a great people's leader smashing bureaucracy and corruption !-special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

On the 29th of February the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held a meeting which was presided over by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN, the Chairman of the Workers Party of Korea . According to KCNA the meeting "The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK discussed in depth the principled issues of thoroughly applying the people-first principle in party building and activities as required by the developing revolution, constantly strengthening the Party ranks and its fighting efficiency, ways of correctly executing the immediate political, military and economic tasks, and adopting and strictly enforcing top-class anti-epidemic measures to contain the viral epidemic spreading rapidly across the world.

At the enlarged meeting acts alien to the party, abuse of power, practices of privileges, indulgence in bureaucracy, corruption and irregularities revealed among senior officials of the Party Central Committee and officials of the Party cadre training institution were harshly criticized and their gravity and consequences were sharply analyzed."
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN who follows the people-first orientation resolutely and decisively dwelt swift hammer-blows at bureaucracy and corruption at the meeting .It was decided at the meeting to remove Ri Man Gon and Pak Thae Dok from the position of vice-chairman . The fact they were publicly removed from their posts shows that the Workers ' Party of Korea and respected Marshal
KIM JONG UN are serious about tackling bureaucracy and corruption .
In the capitalist world there are many instances of corruption , often gross corruption but rarely is anything actually done about it . A few years back in the UK (it is now forgotten ) there was an enormous scandal with Members of Parliament fiddling their expenses and claiming for all manner of things but no one was actually jailed . It is suspected that many local councils are corrupt , with officials taking 'backhanders ' . In the British civil service  cases of bureaucracy and corruption never resulted in dismissal or demotion but was usually dwelt with if at all  with a mere 'slap on the wrist ', it would be described as a training need.
The DPRK and Workers' Party of Korea has always championed the interests of the people and opposed bureaucracy and corruption . The great leader President KIM IL SUNG said "Bureaucracy is an anti-popular method of government used by the officials of the old society to oppress and exploit the people.  and the great leader Chairman KIM JONG IL said "The wielding of power and bureaucracy have nothing in common with the true nature of the working-class party. These are the method of government employed by the reactionary ruling class of the old society" . Respected
Marshal KIM JONG UN their reliable and loyal successor declared "Our Party and the government of our Republic have resolutely declared a war against abuses of power, bureaucratism and corruption, which are infringing upon the people's interests, and waged an intensive struggle against such practices, taking it as a matter with a vital bearing on the existence of our State."

Marshal KIM JONG UN does not believe in inefficiency , incompetence and backsliding under socialism. He believes that the interests of the people should come first and that officials must always work for the people . 'Inefficient ' and 'incompetent' socialism is actually a very dangerous phenomen  . In the past revisionist-led socialist countries such as the Soviet Union and the eastern European socialists countries became associated with bureaucracy and stagnation , although the people of these countries enjoyed advantages such as full employment there were some shortcomings in people's lives. These were exaggerated and used by the enemies of socialism. Here in the UK there never was socialism  however the social democratic policies of post-war Labour governments was often described as "socialist " or "socialism " by the Tories and even by some on the Left . The 'reforms' of the Labour governments became quickly associated with inefficiency and incompetence(queues for hospital treatment , poor quality education with working class children just given colouring pencils and not educated, bureaucrats at dole offices and long waits for council housing). Thus socialism had a bad name with the British people.
Thanks to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN's great people-orientated policy , Juche -based socialism is a superior socialism centred on the popular masses.
