The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) a statement in support of the indictment issued by the National Reunification Institute of the DPRK on Wednesday 14th of February :
The indictment issued by the National Reunification Institute(NRI) oft the DPRK charges that the US has dampened the reconciliation and unity of the Korean nation and trampled on the desire for the reunification through impudent interference and undisguised pressure since it occupied south Korea. This , of course , has got much worse since Trump , an ignoramus and a fascist , came to power in
the US .
The US has tried its best to impede the moves towards inter-Korean reconciliation that are taking place . When the regime changed in south Korea due to the fall of the corrupt dictator Park Geun Hye, the US told south Korea to hold back from dialogue with the DPRK.
The US has made numerous military threats against the DPRK as well as talking about the 'maximum pressure ' on the DPRK .Loads of different sanctions have been piled one after the
other on the DPRK . This sanctions restrict inter-Korean co-operation .
All this shows is that the US is the enemy of Korean reunification.
It is high time that the US stopped interfering in Korea and allowed Koreans to decide their own
future !
