DPRK Will Retaliate against Those Who Infringe upon Its Sovereignty and Dignity: KCNA Commentary

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises now under way in south Korea on full-scale bring to bolder relief the U.S. aggressive and criminal nature.
At the recent joint muscle flexing, the U.S. staged the largest-ever war rehearsal aimed at making preparations for "infiltration into Pyongyang" and "beheading operation" and operation to disable the DPRK's military command mechanism with the U.S. Special Operation Force including the ill-famed terror units such as Seals, Green Berets and Delta Force involved.
Meanwhile, it conducted a joint marine maneuver of the carrier flotilla comprised of an escort craft of the Japan Maritime Self-defense Force, the U.S. nuclear carrier Carl Vinson, destroyers and supply craft under the pretext of coping with someone's "provocations".
This is the escalation of the U.S. moves for a nuclear war to stifle the DPRK which is making a dynamic advance along the road of independence against imperialism at any cost and a clear manifestation of its hostile moves against the latter.
The U.S. is confirming the feasibility of an actual war including the "beheading operation" against the headquarters of the Korean revolution and operation for a preemptive strike at the DPRK's nuclear strike means through the on-going joint saber-rattling.
It put into practice OPLAN 5015, the new wartime allied operation plan with its main emphasis on a preemptive strike at the DPRK's important nuclear facilities. From March 10, it deployed the nuclear carrier strike group composed of nuclear-powered carrier Carl Vinson, guided-missile cruiser Lake Champlain, Aegis destroyers Michael Murphy and Wayne E. Meyer in the East Sea of Korea before staging the drill for launching a sudden strike at the area of the DPRK's side.
On March 15, it staged the drill for dropping nuclear bombs over the DPRK's major targets for about one hour by letting a formation of B1-B nuclear strategic bombers take off at the Anderson Air Force Base on Guam and fly over the Sangdong Firing Ground of south Korea.
The U.S. hell-bent on the dangerous saber-rattling in south Korea little short of a nuclear arsenal is the arch criminal harassing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.
It is a daydream for the U.S. to stifle the DPRK, a full-fledged nuclear weapons state. Its moves only precipitate its final ruin.
The U.S. would be well advised to bear in mind that the army of the DPRK has shifted the mode of its military counteraction to that of preemptive strike to cope with the former's moves for a nuclear war.
All strategic assets of the hostile forces including the above-said nuclear carrier flotilla involved in the on-going maneuvers are in sight of the Korean People's Army's powerful ultra-precision strike means.
Once even a single shell is fired into the inviolable territory, waters and sky where the sovereignty of the DPRK is exercised, its Juche-oriented weapons will reduce the bases of aggression and provocation to such debris that no living thing can be found. This is not hot air.
No mercy will be shown for those who infringe upon the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK even a bit. -0-
