KCNA Commentary Demands U.S. Roll back Its Hostile Policy toward DPRK

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- Recently, a vice-director of an institute for international political and military studies in a Western country termed the row of "sanctions" being kicked up by the U.S. against the DPRK over the latter's access to nukes and rocket launches for self-defence the height of double and treble standards unreasonable in the light of international law.
Not a few Western media including Yahoo News and Reddit of the U.S. made analysis and comments, claiming that no matter how frequently the UNSC may release "sanctions resolutions" and press statements, they cannot hold anything in check, to say nothing of the DPRK's rocket launches, a proof that "sanctions" themselves prove unworkable.
This tells that the fair-minded international community is acknowledging the illegality of the U.S. "sanctions" against the DPRK and their inevitable bankruptcy.
With no rhetoric to paint its anti-DPRK "sanctions" as ones for peace and security can the U.S. put under carpet the criminal nature of its vicious hostile moves against the DPRK.
The U.S. kept mum about the satellite launch conducted by south Korea with other's help in January 2013. In 2012 it allowed south Korea to expand its missile firing range so that it might put the whole territory of the DPRK within its firing range and strike it.
The U.S. is getting desperate in its nuclear blackmail and modernization of its nuclear force in a bid to stifle the DPRK and dominate the world but is working hard to ratchet up the "sanctions" against the DPRK over its steps for self-defence which are just in the light of international law.
In a word, its "sanctions" racket is nothing but a hideous scenario for aggression as it is aimed to suffocate the economy of the DPRK and deteriorate the overall material and cultural life of its people under the pretext of scuttling its nuclear and missile programs and thus realize the wild ambition for stifling it, a main link in Washington's chain efforts for dominating the world.
It is quite natural that the U.S. illegal moves against the DPRK being stepped up pursuant to the outrageous hostile policy toward it are sparking strong protest and denunciation from the DPRK and the world public.
The service personnel and people of the DPRK have turned Juche Korea into the only independent, self-supporting and self-developing great power in the world despite the "harshest sanctions" of the U.S. imperialists and their vassal forces.
The DPRK has emerged a nuclear power in the East possessed of miniaturized, light and diversified nukes and the strongest military power with medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket of its own style.
The more desperate efforts being made by the U.S. to escalate its "sanctions" and pressure upon the DPRK would only compel the latter to further bolster up its capabilities for self-development and retaliatory nuclear strike.
The U.S. anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK will only precipitate its miserable self-ruin. -0
