Standpoint of national independence is a fundamental way for Korea’s reunification

The DPRK Supreme leader Kim Jong Un’s historic New Year Address for 2016 inspires the Korean nation to the action for Korea’s reunification. In his New Year Address, Kim Jong Un said that we should reject foreign intervention and resolve the issues inter-Korean relations and national reunification independently in keeping with the aspirations and demands of the nation, Kim Jong Un said in his New Year Address. The master of destiny of a nation is the people themselves and the people have the ability to carve out their destiny. However, the south Korean authorities are clinging to a smear campaign against the fellow countrymen in collusion with the outside forces while touring foreign countries to ask for the solution of the internal issue of its reunification. It is needless to say that this is a betrayal of the country and nation that leaves the destiny of the nation at the mercy of the outside forces and sells out its interests. If the south Korean ruling quarters persist in the policy hostile towards the same brethren, they would be branded as a group of treacherous and anti-reunification force and would face a barrage of denunciation of the Korean nation.  The Korean nation would meet disaster, far from national reunification, as long as the treacherous group, which have flattered the foreign forces and put a bar to national reconciliation and reunification for the sake of interests of the foreign forces, remain intact.    The anti-reunification moves of the foreign forces and their stooges are getting more pronounced, however, they can never check the Korean nation’s advance to national reunification under the banner of national independence.
