Kim Jong Un Returns Home


Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, arrived here on June 13 after successfully concluding the historic DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks held in the Republic of Singapore.
Amid the great attention and excitement of mankind toward the epochal talks unprecedented in history which shocked the whole world, Kim Jong Un, the respected Supreme Leader of the party, army and state of the DPRK, left his lodging quarters on Tuesday night and set out on a return trip.
Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and Minister of Education Ong Ye Kung of Singapore came out to Changi International Airport to see Kim Jong Un off.
They congratulated him on his successes at the historical DPRK-U.S. summit talks.
He thanked the government of the Republic of Singapore once again for its much effort and sincerity for the successful DPRK-U.S. summit talks.
He exchanged warm good-byes with the senior officials of the Singaporean government who came out to see him off and got into the plane for his personal use.
The Chinese plane carrying him arrived at Pyongyang International Airport at 7:00 a.m. of Wednesday.
A ceremony for greeting the Supreme Leader took place at the airport overflowing with the burning minds of all the people missing him on a foreign tour very much and ardently wishing him safe return.
He was warmly greeted by the leading officials of the party and government.
Reflecting the unanimous desire of the people of the whole country, the leading officials wholeheartedly extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un who ushered in a new phase of the DPRK-U.S. relations while steering the trend of the political situation on the Korean Peninsula with his energetic external activities,.
He shook hands one by one with the leading officials of the party and government and extended warm greetings of his return to all his loving people of the country. -0-
