BGSJI and KFA UK support press statement titled " "Gangster-like Logic of Impudent 'War Apostle' Can Never Work"

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and  the Korean Friendship Association  of  the UK  KFA UK  ),)issued the following joint statement in support of  the press statement made by  Kim Yong Bok, first vice-chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA ) that was titled "Gangster-like Logic of Impudent 'War Apostle' Can Never Work" and issued on the 25th of August ;

The situation on the Korean peninsula has been strained to the extreme by the war exercise "Ulji Freedom Shield " being carried out by the US imperialists and ROK puppets and involving armed forces from outside the Korean peninsula . "Ulji Freedom Shield " started on the 18th of August and will finish on the 28th of August .

Foolishly the US Forces Command in the ROK tried to justify the war exercises mouthing sophistries such as ""regular and defensive one without preemptive strike and offensive operation" and "it is not to prepare for aggression but to bolster up deterrence" .This is just ridiculous baloney .

Colonel General Kim Yong Bok , first vice chief of KPA General Staff in his statement refutes the false assertions that Ulji Freedom Shield is a defensive exercise .He points out that "It is a generally-acknowledged fact that the large-scale war drill against a state can never be "defensive" one as it is being staged by the world's biggest nuclear weapons state and more than ten satellite states in the region of the Korean peninsula technically at war" . It is impossible for Ulji Freedom Shield to be a defensive exercise , assuming that there is such as thing as a defensive military exercises staged thousands of miles from the homeland of the army concerned .

Moreover 10 US F35 fighter aircraft have participated in Ulji Freedom Shield and the exercise has been turned into a multi-national war exercise involving the armed forces of more than 12 countries .

As Colonel General Kim Yong Bok says "The typical Yankee-style arrogance and impudence of the "war apostle" aimed to mislead the reality and turn black into white with the third-rate wordplay while infringing upon the security interests of a sovereign state and endangering the regional security environment can never work..We are watching everything carefully and ready to cope with any situation".

Ulji Freedom Shield is not a 'defensive exercise ' but a dry run for invading People's Korea and overthrowing the socialist system in the DPRK . We strongly denounce Ulji Freedom Shield and support the press statement of Col Gen Kim Yong Bok , 1st vice chief of KPA General Staff.
