It was on the 25th of August 1960 that the revolutionary leadership over the revolutionary armed forces of People’s Korea , the revolutionary armed forces of Juche that stand guard over the socialist gains , began when comrade KIM JONG IL , the loyal successor to President KIM IL SUNG , gave guidance to Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People’s Army (KPA ) which was named after the famous anti-Japanese guerrilla commander Ryu Kyong Su and was the first KPA tank unit to enter Seoul , the south Korean puppet capital when it was liberated from US imperialist fascist colonial rule . During his on the spot guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards no 105 Tank Division of the Korean People’s Army comrade KIM JONG IL put forward the slogan “Let Us Defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee Headed by Respected Comrade KIM IL SUNG !.
The revolutionary leadership of Comrade KIM JONG IL over the revolutionary armed forces was to continue for five decades . Today it is the 65th anniversary of the beginning of that leadership .It was thanks to the revolutionary leadership of comrade KIM JONG IL over the revolutionary armed forces that independence of the DPRK was defended against imperialism and its independent power , based on Juche , was built up.
In the days that comrade KIM JONG IL visited the historic Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards no 105th Tank Division modern revisionism had appeared and was causing great problems in the socialist camp and the international communist movement . The modern revisionists cowardly capitulated in the Cuban missile crisis and also began to melt down tanks , unilaterally disarming themselves. They wanted to force the DPRK down the same route that they were taking but they were rebuffed and rejected by the DPRK .
Under revolutionary leadership the guidance and leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea over the revolutionary armed forces was ensured and further increased . The Korean People ‘s Army became an army of the Party and an army of the leader . In the revisionist-led socialist countries the armed forces were detached from the leadership of the party and were de politicised and ‘de-ideologised ‘ so in the end they could not defend socialism and socialism collapsed like a pack of cards .
Thanks to the Juche-based revolutionary leadership, People's Korea upheld socialism and marched along the road of socialism , holding the red flag high when others threw it down .Today the DPRK enjoys both peace and independence . It is the most independent country in the world . It is a model ot stability in a troubled world.
