SPEECH FOR SEMINAR 4th of February'People's Korea and Anti-Revisionism'

First of all, I would like to thank Dr Joe for accepting the invitation from the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and taking part in this seminar

Adding to the definition of revisionism, given by Dr Joe, to better understand the nature of revisionism, I like to quote two useful definitions of revisionism.

So, it is useful to prove that DPRK militancy stands by and sticks to the pure soul of Marxism - Leninism which is progress in adaption to objective conditions, progress and development of the Kimilsungism - Kimiljongilism, at present. This progress is not dogmatism but just progressing development of Marxism - Leninism, progressiveness with no contradiction to the main essence and basic principles of Marxism - Leninism, conceptions of 'dictatorship of the proletariat'  'historical and dialectical materialism' 'central planned economy' etc. They stay the same. 

The creative use of Marxism - Leninism, does not mean dogmatic duplication of the patterns from the past time like dogmatism presupposes, but, while maintaining the basic regularities of the development of socialist construction and specific local objective conditions, it is developed to a new level as DPRK did, and still does.

I like to point out, that it is important to note that the anti-revisionist role and activities of the DPRK have been underestimated and very often undervalued in the world communist movement. In my opinion, the reasons for this are mainly the result of a specific 'information blockade' and the conduct of intense hostile propaganda against the DPRK along with the misrepresentation and omission of achievements and successes in the fight against imperialism and indeed the resulting ignorance among other world anti - imperialist forces. The anti-revisionist character of the DPRK and its ideological policy has been and is greatly falsified and even concealed.

That is why it is so important to show intensive information and propaganda work aimed at promoting great achievements on the battlefield against revisionism in the world communist 

movement. In my opinion, the DPRK is the center of the world anti-revisionist and anti-imperialist movement, it is a leader in the fight for the correct perception and interpretation of Marxist - Leninist principles in the fight for the liberation of the world proletariat. and even more, the DPRK in the process of adapting Marxism-Leninism in its historical conditions, at the stage of many years of unshakable defense of these Marxist principles, developed Marxism - Leninism to a new level and overcame the limitations of Marxism - Leninism brought by the past decades with its problems, resulting from the development of the world system imperialist, world capitalist system, and constantly militantly defended the correct interpretation of the principles of Marxism - Leninism, fighting against all falsifications and becoming an outstanding leader in this fight against the opportunistic trends of old and modern revisionism.

In Marxism - Leninism, which is guided by materialism, the proof of the usefulness of any theory or tactics of action, the proof is a positive result in practice. It is useful, gives positive results and is checked by practice. I think that there can be no better confirmation of the validity and correctness of the practical application of the developed Marxism - Leninism to the present and past historical conditions in the DPRK, as is the current economic and political power and strength, and especially the comprehensive well - being of the citizens of the DPRK.
