ASSPUK, BGSJI, KFA UK and BSCPRKP on the passing away of comrade O Kuk Ryol

 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI), the Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean peninsula (BSCPRKP)  issued a statement today about the passing away of comrade O Kuk Ryol, a veteran revolutionary of People's Korea ;

Yesterday we learned that comrade O Kuk Ryol, a veteran revolutionary of People's Korea and a stalwart of the Juche revolution had passed away on the 9th of February at the age of 93.

Comrade O Kuk Ryol took the road of revolution at an early age. During the great victorious  Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953) comrade O Kuk Ryol was a commanding officer of the Korean People's Army Air Force and made a contribution to the victory in the war.

Comrade O Kuk Ryol held many different positions throughout his life; vice commander of the KPA Air Force commander of the KPA Air Force, first vice-chief of the KPA General Staff, Chief of KPA General Staff and vice Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. He was the winner of the Kim Il Sung Order and Kim Jong Il Order and twice DPRK Hero.

The life of comrade O Kuk Ryol was an exemplary one of a true loyalist of the Juche revolutionary cause who served the cause of the Party, revolution and socialist country.

We salute the passing away of a great veteran revolutionary. We offer our condolences to the people of the DPRK,
