ICCSS Statement on the 81st anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL

The International Central Committee for Songun Study issued the following statement on the Day of the Shining Star, the 81st  anniversary of the birth of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL, the sun of Songun ;

 81 years ago, the great Songun commander comrade KIM JONG IL was born on the 16th of February 1942. This is celebrated by the Korean people and world progressive people including Songun idea followers as the Day of the Shining Star.

 The great leader comrade KIM JONG IL was the son of anti-Japanese revolutionary guerrillas. He was the successor to the great Juche revolutionary cause started by the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG. Comrade KIM JONG IL led the Korean revolution to victory by developing the Juche idea in depth. Comrade KIM JONG IL developed Songun politics the treasured sword for defending independence in the 21st century.  

     Comrade KIM JONG IL is admired and revered by the world's people for his stalwart work in defending socialism and independence.

 Thanks to the leadership of comrade KIM JONG IL the DPRK was turned into a socialist military power and a  socialist nuclear power of Juche. Moreover, comrade KIM JONG IL worked hard for Korean reunification and held the first-ever inter-Korean summit. Comrade KIM JONG IL defended socialism and fought for global independence.

May the Star of Songun and Juche shine forever!
