On Jan. 4, the south Korean military authorities and the US troops in south Korea introduced construction materials for THAAD base at Soseong-ri in Seongju county of North Gyeongsang Province.
The residents and the members of the civil organization made a stubborn action against THAAD.
They staged a sit-in demonstration outside village hall carrying placards "peace for Soseong" from dawn in the cold weather.
The demonstrators hardened their resolve to wage vigorous action against deployment of THAAD expressing their strong opposition to criminal acts of the south Korean military authorities and the US forces in south Korea.
