The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) have decided to form the Committee for Remembering the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his passing away ;
It is 25 since years since the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG passed away . We Juche Idea followers , Songun idea followers , true friends of People's Korea and supporters of the independent reunification of Korea , have resolved to form a Committee for Remembering the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG so to commemorate the memory of a truly greatleader , a great leader among great leaders .
Comrade KIM IL SUNG authored the great Juche idea, the idea of self-reliance and independence that inspires us in our struggle . He defeated two imperialist powers in one generation and secured independence for the Korean nation. He built a socialist paradise on Korean soil , making Korea the "Chollima country " and ideal socialist country. Comrade KIM IL SUNG fought all his life for
Korean reunification and for global independence .
Believing that it is important to uphold the memory of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG and to show solidarity with People's Korea , we will conduct activities including issuing statements and articles setting June 18th to July 8th as the period of commemoration .
