ASSPUK,JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP support DPRK FM press statement "Fate of DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement"

Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK , the Juche Idea Study Group of England, the UK Korean Friendship Association and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula  issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea titled ' Fate of DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement'
 In less than a week's time it will be the 1st anniversary of the historic June 12th summit between the DPRK and US at which a joint statement was agreed the gist of which was to end the hostile relations between the two countries and establish a new peace regime on the Korean peninsula. During the past year the DPRK has honestly and sincerely taken many measures to implement the joint statement but the US has not responded .
  As the spokesman of the DPRK Foreign Ministry says "However, it is regrettable to see that the United States has become ever more undisguised during the past year in its scheme to annihilate us by force while deliberately turning its face away from the implementation of the DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement and only insisting on our unilateral surrender of nuclear weapons.". This is very correct.
  The US instead of sincerely implementing its side of the DPRK-US joint statement has continued with its hostile policy such as the enforcement of sanctions against the DPRK . Worse still it has tried to force the DPRK into unilateral disarmament basically denying the DPRK's right to exist and its independence. This is contrary  to the DPRK-US statement which committed both sides to taking step by step actions on the basis of equality not one side submitting to the other . It would appear the US
has a very poor understanding of language  !
  Whether the DPRK-US statement is implemented leading to peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula or whether it falls by the wayside , becoming in the words of the DPRK Foreign Ministry spokesperson , a " mere blank sheet of paper ", is entirely up to the US as the DPRK has done its bit to implement the joint statement .
  The DPRK correctly warns that there is a limit to their patience. The world is now watching the US to see whether they seriously implement the DPRK-US joint statement .
  We call for the just and correct implementation of the DPRK -US joint statement and for the US to end its hostile policy towards the DPRK .
