Hands off Korean students in Japan ! ASSPUK, JISGE, UK KFA and BSCPRKP

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement denouncing the horrendous repression of Korean students in Japan by the Japanese reactionary authorities :
  On June 28, the Japanese customs authorities ransacked bags of ethnic Korean  students of Kobe Korea High School on their way back after visiting the DPRK and seized not only souvenirs from their families and relatives in the homeland but also sportswear emblazoned with letter "Korea" and the national flag of the DPRK and even daily necessities.This was an unnecessary ,petty and mean-spirited act of the Japanese authorities because the items concerned did not come within the remit of sanctions, there was no just reason for the Japanese authorities to search the bags of the Korean students or confiscate items,this is is very wrong.
   This time the Japanese authorities  have really disgraced themselves in the eyes of the people of the world . What they have done is basically commit an act  robbery . As such it can be conducted in the Japanese political environment where the hostile attitude and blatant racism towards the  General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon ) and ethnic Koreans is encouraged as state policy . It is a grave and unwarranted provocation towards Chongryon, towards Korean residents in Japan and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea .
  Our organisations strongly denounce , with anger, this horrendous fascist and racist action of the Japanese state. We wish to express our solidarity with Chongryon and Korean residents in Japan !
