Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- It was recently disclosed that the U.S.
agreed with the south Korean authorities to use nuclear weapons in case
of "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula.
According to the memoir published by former U.S. Secretary of
Defense Panetta on Oct. 7, he informed the south Korean puppet forces of
the U.S. stand to use nukes in case of "contingency" on the Korean
Peninsula in 2011. He opened to public that in 2010 when he was holding
the post of director of CIA, he received a report from the then
commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea that a war scenario against
the DPRK "included the program for using nukes."
This is another evidence of the U.S. grave nuclear threat to the DPRK.
The disclosed data prove the U.S. policy of nuclear blackmail
against the DPRK which has lasted for decades and the gravity of its
evermore escalating moves for a nuclear war against the latter.
The U.S. has posed a nuclear threat to the DPRK according to its
policy of nuclear blackmail against the latter since the 1950s.
There are a lot of scenarios for nuclear attack which have been
disclosed during the period, including the 1953 OPLAN 8-53 and recent
OPLAN 8022-02.
The U.S. brigandish nuclear threat to the DPRK has been put into practice.
The disclosure of the U.S. above-said scenario brought into bolder
relief its ulterior intention to drive the political and military
confrontation on the Korean Peninsula into the worst phase in history,
bind the south Korean puppet forces to the military alliance system for
aggression more tightly and deploy THAAD in south Korea with ease.
The U.S. is set to use the peninsula as a nuclear forward base and a bridgehead for carrying out its Asia-Pacific strategy.
The reality proves that the U.S. nuclear blackmail aimed at
aggression and domination has entered a phase of practical strike, going
beyond the level of threat.
The validity of the DPRK's line of simultaneously bolstering up
nukes and pushing forward economic construction is being proved with
each passing day.
All service personnel and people of the DPRK have keenly realized
once again how wise it was when it decided to bolster up nuclear
deterrence to cope with the U.S. nuclear threat.
The DPRK's nuclear weapons serve as treasured sword of justice
protecting the nation from the U.S. nuclear blackmail and aggression and
a reliable shield defending the peace on the Korean Peninsula and in
the rest of Northeast Asia.
The army and people of the DPRK will further bolster up its nuclear
deterrence for self-defence both in quality and quantity till they
completely foil the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and nuclear
threat to it. -0-
