The Juche-type military equipment is fully demonstrating the dignity of Juche Korea across the globe in every domain including the sky, land and sea with a firm guarantee of the prosperity of our powerful state. Added to this is the magnificent appearance of another new-generation multi-mission destroyer which will reliably defend our maritime sovereignty and national interests. This represents the tremendous power of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The state-of-the-art multi-mission destroyers we have built, which could be called a complex of the national economic power and sci-tech capabilities are by no means good luck provided by the grace of heaven nor in exchange for gold like rich others.

Today’s monumental event in enriching and strengthening the country is unthinkable apart from the outstanding leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the peerless patriot who ardently loves the fatherland and people than anyone else and braves all the odds for the prosperity of the fatherland and peace of the coming generation by the strenuous efforts and strong will.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un personally led in the forefront the development of modern armed equipment as well as the warship-building of our own style and encouraged them to overcome the challenging trials and difficulties by means of indomitable struggle. Thanks to his wise leadership, a miracle peculiar to Juche Korea could be performed to build two large multi-mission destroyers in a little more than a year by our own efforts, which may take years for even developed countries to build.

Now our country is equipped with the industrial potentials and high technology which guarantee the rapid development of maritime operational capabilities with the actual reality rather than prediction or possibility. Our country is looking to the future in full confidence when our fleet with blue water operational capabilities will call the main ports and waters of the enemy states, frustrating the aggressive battleships’ threat to the sovereignty of our Republic.

Fully embodying the creed that invasion can only be contained when it is capable of counter-attack and builds up such a capability, the DPRK fleet will be armed soon with the state-of-the-art warships that will be named after the preeminent military officers representing the heroism of the Korean People’s Army, thus fully demonstrating the far-reaching ideal and the triumphant spirit of Juche Korea towards an advanced maritime power in the near future into the vast expanse of the ocean.
