The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) , and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement supporting the statement issued by the DPRK Foreign Ministry concerning the exclusion of Korean nursery schools from free education in Japan;
The recent measure by the Japanese authorities to exclude Korean nursery schools from the system of free education in Japan is a deeply racist and discriminatory measure . As the DPRK Foreign Ministry states ' This unfair discrimination by the Japanese reactionaries is a fascist act unprecedented in history, designed to throw all the Korean residents in Japan into the vortex of national chauvinism and obliterate by all means the nationality within the community of Korean residents in Japan.'.It is also an unfair action as Korean residents in Japan pay taxes.
It shows Japan's true colours as a racist state.
We support the will of the DPRK as expressed by the Foreign Ministry statement to defend the rights and interests of Korean residents in Japan who are organised in the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan(CHONGRYON).
