The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement condemning the interference of the European Union(EU) in the DPRK's independent rights to self-defence :
On August 10th the press secretary of the Foreign Relations and Security Policies of the EU condemned the recent missile tests of the DPRK and demanded that it did not carry out any further missile tests. The EU also called for the DPRK to engage in talks with the US .
The testing of missiles by the DPRK is its independent and sovereign right, its legitimate right to self-defence which the EU has no right at all to interfere in. The EU talks about resolutions of the
UN Security Council but the DPRK has never accepted these resolutions which are illegal and against its exercises.
What the EU have ignored is that the US and south Korea are carrying military exercises which are in violation of agreements they have signed with the DPRK and are seriously undermining peace on the Korean peninsula . Why does the interfering EU condemn these exercises ? In fact the missile tests of the DPRK are simply a just self-defensive response to the aggressive warmongering military exercises of south Korea and the US .
The EU is a reactionary imperialist bloc that plots regime change in People's Korea.
We say EU, Hands Off People's Korea !
