The Stoke On Trent Branch of the Juche Idea Study Group wishes to commemorate the life and work of the Great Chairman KIM JONG IL upon the 6th anniversary of the passing away of the General. KIM JONG IL developed and systematized the Juche Idea into a comprehensive philosophical and ideological framework. KIM JONG IL worked tirelessly to model the whole of DPRK society upon the Juche Idea and led the revolutions in culture and art, making them socialist and Juche-oriented. One of KIM JONG IL's greatest feats was to have sparked off the Songun Revolution, putting the Korean Peoples Army at the forefront of the Korean Revolution. The Songun Politics of KIM JONG IL has led to the DPRK becoming a powerful nuclear weapons' status country, which contributed to the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and the safeguarding of socialism. KIM JONG IL was able to unlock the door of national division and bring the north and south of Korea together through the summit meetings of June 2000 and October 2007. KIM JONG IL is highly regarded by the world revolutionary people for his theoretical and practical defence of socialism. The work of KIM JONG IL is being faithfully carried forward by KIM JONG UN. Only victory and glory is instore for the Korean people following the Leader KIM JONG IL.
