The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the  director general of the Institute of Disarmament and Peace of the DPRK Foreign Ministry concerning US missile warning tests being conducted :
For the 4th time this year the US imperialists conducted missile warning drills with the south Korean puppets and Japanese militarists . The drills aim at tracking the ballistic missiles of People's Korea . It should be stressed that the DPRK's ICBMs and nukes are purely defensive and are a response to the US threat .
As the  director general of the Institute of Disarmament and Peace of the DPRK Foreign Ministry rightly points out it is  "a serious military provocation further exacerbating the grave situation of the Korean peninsula and the region." These exercises follow on from other US imperialist military exercises on the Korean peninsula  and are part and parcel of the strategy of the Trump regime in the US to put so-called maximum pressure on the DPRK . Such exercises stoke up tensions and bring the outbreak of war nearer.
Moreover such exercises will undoubtedly  spark an arms race in north east Asia and led to  a further spiralling of tensions.
All countries should condemn the provocative and hostile actions of the US against People's Korea  ! The US must cease all military exercises on the Korean peninsula.
