Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea has solved in its own way all problems arising in the revolution and construction and paved a broad avenue toward prosperity for many years, thus performing unprecedented miracles to be etched in history.
Such successes would have been unthinkable without the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il, who put forward the revolutionary slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!" 45 years ago to have the banner of Juche held higher across the DPRK.
In December Juche 67 (1978), Kim Jong Il told officials that the present times urgently call on them to establish Juche in all fields of the revolution and construction more firmly than ever before and live in their own way. "Let Us Live Our Own Way!" -- this is the strategic slogan our Party has put up nowadays, he noted.
Thanks to the patriotic will and ardent devotion of the peerlessly great man to cement the foundations for the prosperity and happiness of posterity by our own way and our own efforts in all decades, including the 1970s, the 1980s and the 1990s when the Arduous March, forced march, was successfully concluded, eye-opening successes to be proud of before the world were made continuously in all fields of economy, culture and national defence.
Indeed, his decades-long history of revolutionary leadership is the one in which he solved all the problems arising in the revolution and construction in our own way on the principle of self-reliance in conformity with the actual conditions of the country and the interests of the Korean revolution out of the transparent faith of independence.
Today the slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!" represents the unshakable faith of our people and the ever-victorious banner of our revolution under the leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
Thanks to the guidance of the General Secretary who is solving all the problems arising in the revolution and construction in our own way on the principle of Juche, the slogan has been thoroughly established as our life and the mode of struggle that can never be violated and has been deeply cherished in the hearts of the Korean people as unshakable faith. -0-
