C.C., WPK Appreciates Feats for New Juche-based Iron-making Process

Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on Monday sent a message of thanks to the workers, technicians and officials who performed distinguished feats in building a new Juche-based iron-making process at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex.

The additional installation of energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace and oxygen separators with the capacity of 15 000 cubic meters per hour at the complex made it possible to increase the Juche-based iron-making capacity of the complex more than two times and opened up a bright prospect for supplying much more iron and steel to different sectors of the national economy, the message said, adding:

This eventful success is a manifestation of the unyielding spirit of continued revolution of the Korean people steadily creating and dynamically advancing despite the stern trials and a grand patriotic deed that proved in practice the firm faith of the working class to defend the Party and socialism with steel.

The WPK Central Committee extends warm thanks and militant greetings to the workers, technicians and officials of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Chongjin Metal Construction Complex and the Equipment Assembly Complex who performed distinguished feats in putting the iron-making industry of the DPRK on a higher stage of Juche basis and laying a strong foundation for the national economic development by establishing a new Juche-based iron-making process, true to the tasks set forth by the 8th Party Congress.

The WPK Central Committee in its message highly appreciated the feats and merits of all the builders and helpers who contributed to providing precious wealth, which will add vitality to the advance of the country, in the most difficult period of ordeals.

The WPK Central Committee is firmly convinced that all the builders, who opened up a new phase of the Juche-based metallurgical industry, will continue to give full play to the indomitable heroic fighting spirit and inexhaustible creative power in the van of the revolutionary advance for the overall development of the great state, the message said. -0-
