Speech on occasion for the 78th - Anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese imperialist colonial rule, and also the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK.
Dear All! Today is a very special day for the Korean Friendship Association UK.
The 78th anniversary of the liberation of Korea from Japanese imperialist colonial oppressors and also the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK. The two anniversaries were associated together for a reason. Songun politics, Songun idea is the leading key in the past long-term and self-sacrificing struggle of the Korean people for national and social liberation, of which we celebrate the anniversary.
On this occasion, I also, recall with gratitude the initiative of the pioneers of organization of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, who had not only set up the first Songun initiative group 20 years ago, in the hard conditions of the strictly imperialist country as UK is, but had a vision to build it up as a lively and vigorous, active organization. Moreover, the organisation has a militant character in its mission to promote Songun politics, in difficult conditions and under constant attacks by enemies.
The 15th of August 1945 is a special and memorable date. In this day, 78 years ago, thanks to the great sacrifices of thousands of Koreans in the revolutionary struggle and the strength of patriotic attitudes confirmed in the fight against the Japanese occupiers under the wisdom leadership of President Kim Il Sung, Korea embarked on the path of full liberation and fully independence with the beginning of the construction of the future superpower of the state of socialism of Korean style - Juche socialism.
On the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, let me take the opportunity to extend my heartfelt felicitations to the leaders of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, for their invaluable hard work and effort, guidance and directions. My appreciation for the contribution of all our members and supporters must also be put on record. On this auspicious day, I recall the contributions of all members and supporters of the KFA UK, our big family, who are with us and also to those who are not with us, but their contributions are remembered with gratitude.
It is the right moment for us all today, to renew our pledge to further strengthen the position of our Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK. To remain in the position of a leading organization in the mission of propagating Songun politics in the coming days will demand militancy, the dedication of revolutionary spirit, the best knowledge and efficient way of work in strengthening cooperation with our fraternal organizations, but above all abundance of constant contact with our members and supporters.
The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK must continue to play a leading role in the UK process of propagating and popularizing the great idea of Songun in the future as this organisation has done in the past. Our members and supporters are the key to our success in Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and it is you, who have made the Songun politics possible to know and popular, recognizable and studied with passion and delight. Members of the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK are in their faith and trust in us – we must strengthen this faith, trust and mutual bonding.
20 years have passed, the next years are years of struggle and not easy activities, as the international and national situation shows, but I believe, that next years will be of rapid growth of Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, competition in the popularization of the Songun politics in all available ways, in the media, meetings and books will be wider and richer.
What can we rely on for the next years for the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK? There are only two words: Striving Forward. We have strived, made an effort and persisted for the great Songun idea, the idea of the strength of the popular masses with an invincible power to rely on military forces harnessed to serve the whole community, for peace and liberation, for independence and progress of mankind. We have proven this capability and value of the Songun idea by our work in the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and we aim even higher, we plan new, ambitious goals and challenges to propagate the Songun idea.
How has the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK strived for the past 20 years? Only four words, it is: very proudly and hopeful hard work which represents joy, happiness and worthy rewards whenever we look back. It is a pleasure that Songun politics propagate and popularized by the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, is the most influential factor in our members and supporters, and it is the knowledge desired to be acquired with enthusiasm.
Nowadays, there is plenty of work ahead of us in the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and we are aware of that. Future successes and achievements are the things that come from hard work and we are fully determined to do so.
The ultimate goal, as well as our responsibility and mission in the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, let us stretch our arms wide for the next promising years that await us in front.
