Order of All-out Attack for National Liberation

Having come to the Kanbaeksan Secret Camp in June 1945, General Kim Il Sung issued an operational plan of final attack for the liberation of the country before confirming combat tasks of those units gathered there.

He also set the tasks for all the guerrilla units, people’s armed units and resistance organisations to completely defeat the enemies and then liquidate the colonial ruling machines, protect the lives and properties of the people and set up party and people’s power organs.

On August 9, 1945 Kim Il Sung gave the units of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army an order to launch an all-out attack for national liberation.

Firstly, all the commanding officers and soldiers of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army shall turn out to the final decisive battle for destroying and driving the Japanese imperialist aggressors out of the national territory.

Let all the commanding officers and soldiers give full play to patriotism, loyalty and bravery in the battles against Japanese army! Annihilate to the last the brigandish Japanese imperialist aggressors who stained the rivers and mountains of our native land with the red blood of its fellow countrymen! Give a telling blow of revenge to the enemies!

Secondly, members of the small units and circles as well as political underground workers of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army and members of revolutionary organisations, acting at home, shall organize and wage the anti-Japanese resistance of all the people in different parts of the country in response to the all-out attack of the KPRA.

Call the entire anti-Japanese mass of people including workers and peasants for the final battle against Japanese imperialists and lead them to the victory, to the great feats!
