  25th of August  Juche 112(2023)

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK), the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association  of  the UK  KFA UK  ), and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP)issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of the spokesman of the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued on the 24th of August ;

The Japanese government decided on Tuesday to discharge nuclear-polluted water from the Fukushima Atomic Power Plant into the sea despite opposition and warnings from the international community. Although Japan was itself the victim of a nuclear attack, it does not seem to care about the rest of the world and is only concerned with its narrow self-interest.

The actions of Japan are irresponsible in the extreme and threaten the well-being and even the existence of humanity. The radiation from the Fukushima Atomic Power Plant could remain in the sea for thousands of years. This is a grave crime committed by the Japanese imperialists against humanity. Where is the trendy environmentalist Greta Thurnberg silent about this massive crime carried out by the Japanese imperialists.

We condemn Japan and support the call of the DPRK Foreign Ministry for Japan to reverse its improper decision and for it to be held wholly accountable.

DOWN WITH JAPANESE IMPERIALISM!
