The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) , and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP)) , issued the following joint statement in support of the press statement of comrade Kim Son Gyong, vice-minister for International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) that was issued on the 15th of August ;
It has been announced that the UN Security Council (UNSC ) will hold an "open meeting 'on the 'human rights situation' of the DPRK . The 'open meeting ' has been pushed for by the US and its puppet Albania ( Albania was once a socialist country but thanks to revisonist treachery is now a puppet and a running dog of US imperialism ) . Calling such a meeting is absolutely outrageous and a diabolic action . There is no human rights problem in People's Korea .Moreover it is an internal matter for the DPRK and not a subject that should be discussed at the UNSC whose mission is solely concerned with international peace and security and is not concerned with the internal affairs of member states .
In his statement comrade Kim Son Gyong rightfully points out that "The DPRK resolutely denounces and rejects the despicable "human rights" racket of the U.S. as a wanton infringement and a grave challenge to the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK."
The US is misusing its presidency of the UNSC for the purposes of fostering confrontation with the DPRK and trying to internationalize the anti-socialist regime efforts of the US imperialists .
As comrade Kim Son Gyong says "If a certain country has to be dealt at the UNSC over the "human rights issue", the U.S. should be the first before anyone else as it is the anti-people empire of evils, totally depraved due to all sorts of social evils" . This is very true . The US is gripped by poverty , racism and inequality .The US has the highest number of prisoners in the world and uses prison labour . The US is aso the No 1 country in the world for the trafficking of children , the abuse of children and sexual slavery . The US is simply a disgusting and degenerate country !
We would suggest that an international tribunal or a special commission is set up to investigate human rights abuses in the US , EU , UK and Western countries .
We support the stand of People's Korea to defend its socialist system and its independence against the underhand moves of the US imperialists and their followers !
