The Korean Friendship Association of the UK(KFA UK) and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea held a very successful online meeting to mark the 76th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea , the homeland of Juche . The meeting was held via Skype at 1900 hours BST on the 5th of September 2024.
Participating were members and officials of KFA UK and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London, West of England ,Scotland , Shropshire and Staffordshire . Guests from KFA Germany and KFA Canada as well as from Iceland , Poland , Russia and Myanmar.
Dr Hudson, chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, introduced the meeting saying that it was very important to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the DPRK .
Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary ,head of KFA UK West of England and editor of the KFA UK journal “People’s Korea Today “ read out an extract from the work of President KIM IL SUNG titled “LET US ACCOMPLISH THE CAUSE OF SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM UNDER THE REVOLUTIONARY BANNER OF JUCHE”. The extract explained the idea of continuous revolution and the line of the three revolutions .
Dr Hudson made a speech titled “ The invincibility and durability of Juche-based , Korean style socialism” in which he referred to his recollections of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK in 2018.Dr Hudson explained that “ The durability and invincibility of Korean style socialism is truly amazing .The reasons for the success of the DPRK in outliving others can be found in the independent and people-oriented nature of the DPRK which is based on the Juche idea.”. In conclusion he said that “The 76th anniversary of the foundation of the DPRK is a great event that the progressive people of Britain and the world should celebrate.”
The head of the Staffordshire branch of KFA UK who is also secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK is a great example for the working people of Britain as it is a country where the working class is in power .
The representative of KFA Scotland saluted the great achievements of the DPRK in building socialism .
A friend from Russia said that the foundation of the DPRK was a great achievement and the DPRK has advanced along the road of the great Juche idea .
The Chairman of KFA Germany said the DPRK is the only genuine state of the Korean people and that south Korea was a puppet state created by US imperialists . He also pointed out that the DPRK is the greatest gain of the Korean people.
A member of KFA Canada said that the DPRK is a great example for the working class .
A friend from Myanmar said that he would like to visit the DPRK.
A message to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted.
The documentary film “ A New Era of Overall Development Brought by Great Leadership (2020-2023) “.
