KCNA Commentary on Japan's Dangerous Scheme for Reinvasion

Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- The Japanese defense minister recently told at a sectional meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives, as regards the possession of "ability to attack enemy bases", that it wouldn't be ruled out that the "Self-Defense Forces'" fighter jets may enter the territorial air of opponent countries to make attack.

This is an expression of Japan's scheme to reinvade the continent at any cost by securing the preemptive attack ability, which can never be allowed.

It is well known that Japan has long pursued the arms buildup of "SDF" in a bid to revenge itself for the defeat in the past war and realize its old ambition for the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere".

Japan has pushed forward the bolstering of the "SDF's" military muscle and the expansion of its action radius while tactfully escaping gaze of the international society with such honeyed words as "dealing with pirates," "anti-terrorism" and "self-defense".

It factually permitted the carrying of weapons by the "SDF", which had been forbidden during its overseas action, with an obscure decision some years later that "it (weapon carrying) would be decided according to the specific conditions of each mission." And it declared in 2018 that outer space, which it used to say to use only for a peaceful purpose, would be regarded as a new domain of its defense. In this way, Japan has resorted to various infamous and undisguised tricks to take the right of belligerency of the "SDF" and enhance its military capability.

Japan extended, through adoption and enforcement of the "security legislation," the terms for an expedition of the "SDF", which had been limited to a few, to the extent that it would be able to debouch to any region at any time. And it is stepping up the import and development of up-to-date preemptive-attack weapons on the pretext of needing to cope with "threats from neighboring countries".

The "SDF" has been certainly turned into offensive aggression forces, regular armed forces for reinvasion, by overstepping the limit of self-defense.

The said remarks of the Japanese defense minister are manifestation of a kind of Japan's self-confidence in its aggression armed forces and of its growing ambition for reinvasion.

The facts show that Japan's moves for continental aggression have reached an extremely reckless stage.

If such dangerous military buildup of Japan, a war criminal state, being conducted on the pretext of tackling "threat from neighboring countries", are overlooked, the bloody history of aggression would surely be repeated.

The world community should keep a sharp lookout for Japan's reinvasion moves and deal joint counterblows to them. -0-
