It is widely known that the gun-related crimes, which are derisively likened to an “American-style gun culture” by the world people, have long become an incurable chronic disease of the American society.
On March 15, CBS reported the news on the arrest of chief criminal behind the shooting spree in Washington D.C. and New York City, where three were injured and two killed.
More shocking is the fact that all of the victims are the homeless who were sleeping outdoors.
The video clip that recorded the murder case shows that the criminal kicked the sleeping people several times before firing them with his gun.
It is the miserable plight now faced by the Americans who have to live daily in anxiety and fear as they don’t know where and when they would die of bullets.
The problem is that the American politicians who are so loudly chanting the human rights, are only seeking after their financial interests without caring at all the safety of their people.
ABC has recently exposed the financial tie-up between the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the American politicians, thus evoking anger of the general public.
ABC disclosed that the bribe offered by the NRA to the political circles for defending the right to gun possession reaches annually US$ 2~5 million, and the funds squandered for the campaign of 2020 U.S. presidential election amount up to US$ 29 million.
It also reported that the American gun industry has achieved an exponential growth from 2008, and the income from the gun sale reached US$ 63.5 billion in 2020.
The collusion between the NRA and the political circles alone is sufficient to indicate that the gun-related crime is an inevitable product of the completely corrupted system of American-style “democracy”.
The gun-related crimes will never disappear from the American society where the corrupted politicians lord it over the people by extending their political careers and amassing enormous wealth in return for adding to the purses of military conglomerates.
