First meeting of the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland

The first meeting of the Juche Idea Study Group of Ireland was held on the 4th July, 2020 (Juche 109)

The meeting was held with social distancing and strict hygiene being observed at all times.

We started at 1045hrs with a thank you to Comrade Doctor Dermot Hudson, Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and Chairman of KFA UK.

We started our discussion on the right to self defence and the right for nuclear forces in DPR Korea. It was the anniversary of the Hwasong 14 ICBM test on the day of our meeting.

We agreed that the right of the nuclear forces was an act to defend the Juche Idea, and self reliance of DPR Korea from hostile forces and the importance of Songun. This form of defence was built under the Juche Idea, as every part of the rocket was built by DPR Korea, and the technology constructed all by themselves without the help of outside countries. This further shows that the Juche Idea and self reliance is unstoppable in today's climate.

We watched a video of the Hwasong 14 ICBM test, and then continued our discussion on self reliance.

We further discussed a quote from President KIM IL SUNG from his speech from the Political Programme of the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced at the First Session of the Fourth Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, December 16th, 1967 which quotes " A country which is economically dependent on outside forces becomes a political satellite of other countries; an economically subjected nation cannot free it's self from colonial slavery politically"

DPR Korea has full economic independence and thanks to this independence due to the Juche Idea, DPR Korea was able to create the Hwasong 14 and increase its self defence. This is a huge win for DPR Korea!

We further spoke about anti imperialism actions taken by DPR Korea and fully support the actions taken by DPR Korea to counter imperialism. It was noted that the DPRK stands on its own two feet brushing off the sanctions because of the Juche Idea. Under the leadership of Respected Supreme Leader Marshal KIM JONG UN, they will continue to stand on their two feet more solidly than ever!

Our last point was membership, we aim to increase our membership more creatively once the COVID 19 restrictions are over and most importantly when it's safe to. Our future plans call for an information session on the Juche Idea, and to educate people on the Juche Idea through these information sessions.

The meeting ended at 1245hrs with a resolution made to give our whole hearted support to DPR Korea.
