ASSPUK ,JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP support Joint Appeal of Korean Organisations

 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee For Peace and Reunification(BSCPRKP)  issued a joint statement in support of the joint appeal  of the meeting for national reunification marking the 11th anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration held in Pyongyang on the 5th of October;
   To mark the 11th anniversary of the historic October 4th declaration of the DPRK and south Korea a meeting of leaders from the DPRK , south Korea and representatives of oversea Koreans was held in Pyongyang .The meeting hailed the Panmunjom declaration and the September joint declaration as the successors to the historic June 15th joint declaration  of 2000 and the 4th of October joint declaration .
  The meeting appealed to all Koreans to turn out in the decisive struggle to implement the Panumjom  Declaration and the September joint declaration . In particular the appeal calls for turning the Korean peninsula into a peace zone and for realising multi-faceted co-operation between the DPRK and south Korea .It calls for joint events such as a joint commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the March 1st uprising against Japanese imperialism .
  Believing that the Appeal will make a decisive contribution towards a lasting peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula our organisations are pleased to support it and call for the peace movement of Britain to support it.
