Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- No sooner had the "Country Reports on
Human Rights Practices for 2011" been issued by the U.S. State
Department than it was hit hard by the international community.
Many countries of the world bitterly denounced the U.S. report, branding it as an example of politicizing human rights and the height of the application of double standards.
This time too, the U.S. showed its bad habit of malignantly slandering the independent countries opposed to its high-handed practices and hegemony including the DPRK.
It proved once again that the U.S. annual "report on human rights" is nothing but "bubble" of human rights and a paper for hatching plots to do harm to the anti-imperialist and independent countries and seek a pretext for aggression and interference.
Explicitly speaking, there is neither "human rights issue" nor "issue of people's living" much touted by the U.S. in the DPRK. We have never asked the U.S. to take care of our human rights.
Nevertheless, the U.S. worked out the "report on human rights" on the basis of misinformation provided by traitors to the nation and human scum. This suffices to indicate what its standard for human rights and its view on the value of human rights are like.
Since its foundation the U.S. has suffered leprosy of human rights.
It is none other than the U.S. which has considered human rights abuses and man-killing as its mythology of founding the state and way of its existence.
The American Civil War waged right after the foundation of the state left nearly one million people killed and wounded.
The U.S. has earned an ill fame as a kingdom of murder.
The U.S. magazine Foreign Policy on Jan. 9, 2011 said that more than 30 000 Americans die every year due to gun-related violence and another 200 000 are reported to be wounded.
Before and after World War II the U.S. used thousands of African blacks and people of Guatemala as guinea pigs under the guise of "free treatment" and steadily conducted tests on living-bodies early in the 1970s, too.
In the new century the U.S. has massacred innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and other parts of the world and brutally suppressed participants in the Occupy Wall Street demos against capitalism.
Throughout its history spanning 200 odd years the U.S. has not spent even a single day without seeing human blood in scenes of genocides.
The U.S. is the worst country in the world in using "human rights issue" as a political lever for realizing its strategy for world domination.
The U.S. pursuance of hostile policy toward the DPRK and the moves to stifle it for nearly seven decades has brought immeasurable losses to the DPRK's economic construction and cultural development for welfare of the people and improvement of people's living standard.
The U.S. is the worst human rights abuser in the world as it has historically and systematically violated human rights of the Korean nation and blocked democratic development.
Human rights means national sovereignty and genuine human rights are guaranteed by the national sovereignty.
That is why the army and people of the DPRK deem it as its supreme mission to protect its national sovereignty in view of the U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK.
If the U.S. is to truly respect the human rights of the Korean people, it should immediately roll back its hostile policy towards the DPRK and stop military provocations against it and moves to tighten the sanctions and stifle it. -0-
