The ASSPUK and JISGE issued a statement in support of the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry made on the 29th of May concerning the underhand and unjust report on world human rights by the US.
We wish to express our support for the statement of the DPRK Foreign Ministry "U.S. Not Qualified to Talk about Human Rights Issue, Issue of People′s Living: DPRK FM Spokesman ". It is the height of imperialist arrogance for the US to blacken the DPRK's name and try to interfere in its internal affairs styling itself a "world human rights judge ".
Indeed it is quite ludcricous for the US to attempt to judge other countries such as the DPRK and other anti-imperialist independent and progressive countries. It is the US that is the worst violator of human rights in the world . It is the US that is the creator of Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib ,known throughout the world as hellish prisons. The US detains people without trial and carries out "rendition " in secret
It is the US that has invaded many countries since the end of world war 2 and being involved in 150 military interventions as well in plotting to overthrow sovereign governments. It has carried out barbaric bombings of many countries and used depleted uranium weapons,
It is actually the US that has the biggest number of prisoners in the world . It has brutally put down by force the anti-capitalist Occupy Movement (the UK,an ally of the US, has used legal technicalities to suppress the Occupy movement), it the the past the US authorities gunned down hunger marchers in the great depression era and shot anti war protesters at a university.
The US does not guarantee economic and social rights for its population it has many unemployed workers . There are also many homeless people as well. People in the US cannot receive
free medical care.
Therefore the US is the last country that should judge others in regard to human rights. Moreover in today,s world it is anarchonistic for one country to style itself a human rights judge imposing its values and ideology on others.
The s-called report of the US is based on false information and lies told by those who betrayed the DPRK in order to receive payment of $100,000 dollars from the south Korea puppets. It is incredible that the US have tried to publish such an unreliable and un-professional report based on the rantings of traitors and turncoats.
In the DPRK based on the Juche idea which emphasises the independence and creativity of man the people enjoy human rights under the people-centred socialist system. People enjoy the right to work, free education and free health care and even get houses free of charge. Even right wing British tabloid newspapers have to admit that DPRK citizens get free housing.
Visiting the DPRK several times members of the JISGE and ASSPUK have never seen a prison or a "concentration camp" and the police simply direct traffic.
There is no a problem with the living standards of people that the US assert there is . We have seen living standards in the DPRK improve over the past years. The DPRK does not need any so-called help from the US or other imperialists or the south Korean puppets.
In conclusion , the US annual human rights report is just another plank in the insidious and despicable campaign to slander and besmirch the image of people centred Korean style socialism . It is part of an effort to stifle the socialist system in the DPRK and force the DPRK into opening up which in essence means the restoration of capitlalism.
We call for the world progressives to more strongly refute the "human rights " offensive of the US imperialists against the DPRK and to more vigorously defend Juche socialism.
