ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA slam US provocation against the DPRK

The ASSPUK and Juche Idea Study Group of England together with the UK Korean Friendship Association issued a statement in connection with the recent deeply serious and unpardonable provocation committed by the US imperialist forces in Korea.
               We wish to express our condemnation in the strongest possible terms  regarding the serious provocation of firing on the DPRK national flag during 'live fire ' aggressive war exercises on the 22nd of June. Firing on the flag of an sovereign and independent state is an act of war, a provocation that goes way the limits of international norms . It is totally outrageous that the US has done this. Moreover the fact that the exercises which involved a large amount of military hardware including the USS "George Washington ".
                         Such an act greatly increases tension on the Korean peninsula and in the whole of Asia. The US imperialists should be fully cognisant what could result from such provocative actions
                            This shows that the US imperialists talk of peace and dialogue is completely false. How can they be serious about resuming six party talks when they fire on the DPRK flag and continually carry exercises. How can they have a dialogue with the DPRK when they commit horrendous acts of negating the sovereignty of the DPRK. Talk of dialogue and peace by the US imperialists is just a ruse to stifle the socialist system of the DPRK .
                        By firing on the DPRK flag the US imperialists have demonstrated to the whole world and to every impartial and honest observer that they wish to start another Korean war. The nature of the US imperialists has not changed one iota is the past 62 years. The US imperialists are keen to ignite another Korean war in order to crush independent Juche socialism in the DPRK and seize all of Korea in order to turn it into a market for surplus commodities and capital and make it a cheap labour base. The US imperialists are indeed reactionaries who believe in running backwards to meet their own future.

We demand that the US stop all such war exercises and apologise for their serious crime against the dignity of the DPRK.

We fully support the DPRK Foreign Ministry statement of June 26th which makes it clear that the DPRK will bolster its nuclear deterrent.

 We call on progressive and peace'loving people to expose and denounce more strongly the provocations of the US towards People's Korea.
