More lies from the liberal fascist 'Guardian ' or Graundiad ' about People's Korea ( and it is no use writing to them because they wont publish your letter and will just send you a patronising email ) .
Tania Branigan the China correspondent of the 'Guardian ' writes that people in the DPRK face ' face devastating hunger and Covid clampdowns".
This is wrong on two counts . Firstly , the DPRK lifted the lockdown in August . In the DPRK there was only one complete lockdown which lasted from May to August . However in capitalist countries there was lockdown after lockdown , at least 3 in the UK , one of which went on for 6 months .
Secondly , it is false to assert that people in the DPRK face "devastating hunger " ( not just hunger but devastating hunger !) . The DPRK has reaped a bumper harvest . For example the Wonhwa Farm increased the yield of paddy rice by 780kg per hectare and overfulfilled the wheat and barley production targets.
In the DPRK basic foods are distributed to the population at an extremely low cost .
