Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Under the slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!", the DPRK people have overcome manifold difficulties and recorded brilliant chronicles in which everything is created on the highest level in Korean way.
- Let us live our own way -, this was the revolutionary faith of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
In the latter half of the 1970s, great difficulties and obstacles were laid in the socialist construction of the DPRK people due to the aftereffect of the complicated international situation.
In December Juche 67 (1978), the Chairman came to an important conclusion that only the Korean way of life could be a strategic line for accelerating the Korean revolution and victoriously advancing socialism of Juche, and set forth the revolutionary slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!".
Since then, the Korean people have kept this slogan of faith in their hearts and made new leaps in all sectors of socialist construction, overcoming all sorts of difficulties and ordeals.
In the 1990s when the country was faced with manifold difficulties and trials, a solid foundation for building a thriving country was provided under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the Chairman who solved in Korean way all the problems arising in the revolution and construction.
In June 2009, the Chairman stressed that all the people should settle all the issues in conformity with the requirement of the revolution and the specific realities of the country, holding aloft the slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!", and saw to it that they thoroughly embodied their own fighting and creating modes.
The guidance of the Chairman who led the revolution and construction in Korean way was the fundamental source that made the people creators of the times and filled this land with creations shining with Juche.
Grasping the Korean-style revolutionary mode and creation mode maintained by the Chairman as a treasured sword of victory, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has wisely led the struggle of the people for achieving all-round development of socialism. -0-
