Statement of the Staffordshire Korean Friendship Association on post Brexit prospects for improved relations with the DPRK
With the United Kingdom having officially departed from the European Union membership on January 31, 2020, the Staffordshire Branch of the Korean Friendship Association calls upon the British Government to open trade and cultural links with the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. Our Branch urges the British Government to abandon all the punitive sanctions and restrictions placed upon the DPRK in recent years, and instead work for ties of friendship and cooperation with the Government and people of the DPRK. We hope that the United Kingdom will put aside being part of aggressive schemes in Korea and strive for peace on the Korean peninsula, taking seriously the various peace proposals put forward by the DPRK Government!
KOREA IS ONE! PEACE IN KOREA! FRIENDSHIP, COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE PEOPLES OF THE UK AND THE DPRK!!
