Broad segments of south Korean people are launching a campaign for boycotting Japanese goods started from July of last year in protest against Japan’s retaliatory measures.
It is an eruption of pent-up wrath and anger of the people at Japan which denies the hideous unethical crimes it committed against the Korean nation and persistently refuses to make apology and reparation.
The Japanese imperialists forcibly took more than 8.4 million young and middle-aged Koreans to battle fields for aggression and slave labor sites. They abducted 200 000 Korean women, forcing them into sexual slavery.
The Japanese reactionaries are a group of barbarian ignorant of morality and courtesy and the sworn enemy of the Korean nation.
The south Korean people of different strata should demonstrate the spirit and mettle of the Korean nation who values truth and dislikes injustice.
The AINDF, together with the people of various circles, will develop the campaign of boycott of the Japanese goods into that of settling account with Japan over past crimes and accelerate the struggle against the LKP and conservatives.
