Socialist Korea is now fighting at the same time against military, ideological, and natural threats , from drought through typhoons to viral diseases, to an unprecedented rate over the last decades. It is well aware of all these dangers and will surely overcome them under the leadership of the great Workers Party of Korea
When we talk about the importance of the Korean Revolution for the world progressive movement, we are talking at the same time about the importance of the idea of the Juche idea, the importance of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism . The implementation of the idea of Juche enabled the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to achieve and defend its independence, which was of extraordinary importance in the period after XX. Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, when opportunism and revisionism prevailed in the international communist and labor movement. The independent political line of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea made it possible to maintain good relations with all the countries willing to join them, to stand aside from the Sino-Soviet rupture and not to be a pendant of any great power chauvinists. Korea has thus been spared ideological and economic disintegration as a result of the application of capitalist or ultra-left scientifically unsubstantiated methods of governance, and its leadership has not been shaken by the defamation of revolutionary traditions and adoption of bourgeois culture and decadence,followed by a turn to capitalism.
The DPRK has never embarked on a pernicious journey of "peaceful competition", a path of compromise with class enemies. It has not committed unilateral disarmament, but has faced hostile threats and blackmail as the most powerful armed nuclear power with the general armed forces of all people and the whole country transformed into a military fortress , so no one dares to touch it.
Great defense was reinforced by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il by songun policy , the army's priority, in the most difficult period of the demanding march after the counter-revolution in most socialist countries. It defended its independence also thanks to its own defense, without the presence of foreign troops on its territory.
It is a great merit of leading the famous Workers Party of Korea, which is of utmost importance for the stability of the people of Korea, to preserve revolutionary traditions and pass on the revolution from generation to generation. This has failed in most socialist countries. Let us remember the difficulties following the deaths of the great revolutionary leaders of the first generation of the victorious revolution, such as comrades Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh, Enver Hoxha or Klement Gottwald in our country. The unclear question of succession and disputes in the main staff of the revolution have often had tragic consequences. It was otherwise in People's Korea where the great leader of comrade Kim Il Sung was firmly assumed by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il, unanimously followed by the whole society in firm unity of leader, party, army and people, and after his untimely death continues to lead the Korean Revolution with an unaltered general line under the highly erected banner of self-esteem, Commander-in-Chief Kim Jong Un .
Experience from the history of the socialist states, from their victories and defeats, clearly demonstrates the importance of ideology and political education , the passing on of the practical experience of fighters against imperialism, in the case of Korea anti-Japanese guerrillas and warriors of the victorious patriotic liberation war. They also clearly demonstrate the importance of education for work, the importance of collectivism, the role of youth, agitation and promotion, and their modern forms understandable to young people. An advanced socialist culture and the dignified appearance and behavior of man in the liberated northern half of Korea can rightly be an example to the whole world. We do not find any self-harm and abominable human appearances here;
Socialist Korea resists the penetration of bourgeois ideology and consumerism , unlike other socialist states in the past, and unfortunately to a large extent even now. Her emphasis on solid and valuable family life with a small number of divorces and people living outside marriage is worthy.
Despite severe trials and serious difficulties , the liberated northern half of Korea has managed to preserve considerable, unprecedented social security in the world , including free education, including school supplies and clothing, free health care, housing, recreation and leisure activities, such as many visitors to Korea visited in Mangyongdae. Children in North Korea are acquainted with national culture and traditions, they can play traditional and modern musical instruments, sing, paint, embroider, many speak several foreign languages, each of which has a different script, are handy, physically and mentally advanced, while children in so-called developed capitalist countries are wasting their free time staring at computers and touch phones, and usually do nothing.
Inspiring the world can also be the care of socialist Korea for nature , for the environment. The annual spring planting of trees contributes to water retention in the landscape, prevents soil erosion and thus contributes to improving the environment and agricultural yields. More than 2.8 million trees were planted in the March 1, 2019 campaign alone. Huge forest nurseries and greenhouses are being set up, such as the Jungpongyong Forest Nursery and Greenhouse Complex, covering more than 200 ha, was built in less than a year.
In practice, the environmental policy pursued and implemented by Comrade Stalin in the former Soviet Union and buried by the traitors Khrushchev, has caused serious environmental problems and the Soviet Union's dependence on grain imports from capitalist countries.
There is also an increase in the standard of living. Last year, the reconstruction of the center of Samjijon district and its transformation into a modern socialist mountain town was completed; exemplary agricultural community of the agricultural cooperative Chungpyong. Socialist Korea does not focus primarily on tourism . The great leader and the great general have already rejected this malignant line, without being able to anticipate the current corona-virus epidemic, which would now lead to enormous losses in the case of income-oriented foreign visitors, and opening a country for free travel by foreigners would make the spread of the disease unprecedented.
The December 5th Plenum of the 7th Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea acknowledged the existence of shortcomings in the progress of the Korean Revolution. To acknowledge and correct mistakes and deficiencies is essential for any revolutionary party, all the more for the ruling party. Dear Comrade, the supreme leader criticized the existing difficulties and called for them to be resolved at the 7th Congress of the Workers Party of Korea in 2016, in several speeches and during local leadership in factories, businesses, agricultural cooperatives, service facilities and construction sites.

Let us turn to human rights in our own country. Why do slanderers of socialist Korea not criticize the state of human rights in capitalist states, why are they silent on the tragic state of human rights in occupied south Korea, full of beggars, homeless and prostitutes?
The building efforts of the Korean people prove that socialism is sustainable in the long term and can achieve great success if it can defend itself . It is the duty of all proponents of genuine socialism to spread the truth about the achievements of the heroic Korean people, the holy land of socialism and the cradle of human happiness, the land of the happiest people in the world. Let us redouble our efforts for the cause of socialism in the 75th anniversary of the great Workers Party of Korea and in the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Vladimir Ilyich Lenin , whose work provided a powerful impetus to the revolutionary movement in many countries, including Czechoslovakia and Korea.
This year, Pyongyang will host the 22nd International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties . May this meeting consistently build on the proud fighting traditions of the Communist International and give the polish a dignified and vital position of the Korean Revolution in the progressive movement of the world.
