US is entirely to blame for breakdown in talks -short article by Dr Dermot Hudson

The blame game has started over the breakdown of DPRK-US engagement/talks , of course the process is not officially dead yet but it all probability barring an 11th hour attempt by Trump to revive them , they will be soon . The hostile policy of the US and Trump's superficial approach to the negotiations are the primary reason for the breakdown .
However some media outlets are promoting the classic liberal line "they are both to blame !" line , the old six of one , half a dozen of the other approach .This approach basically a falsely equates People's Korea with US imperialism .
The DPRK does not have its troops on any part of US soil nor does it have its troops in countries that neighbour the US like Canada and Mexico . The DPRK does not have a single military base outside its territory whereas the US has a giant global empire of 800 military bases around the world. This fact alone should tell you that to equate the DPRK with the US is absurd as well as unjust !
Moreover the DPRK has about one 10th of the population of the US and one 100th of the size! So equating the DPRK with the US becomes even sillier !
The DPRK a socialist country has no capitalist munitions companies or privately owned military industrial complex which profits from war whereas as the US is virtually run by the military industrial complex and there is no doubt that they sabotaged the peace talks with the DPRK behind the scenes.
In fact the DPRK did everything to be reasonable and achieve peace with the US . It suspended nuclear and ICBM tests but the US never suspended military exercises with south Korea . It returned the remains of US troops killed in the last Korean war . The DPRK also suspended anti US propaganda such as the anti US postcards . The US continued to impose sanctions on the DPRK and continued with its vilification and demonisation of the DPRK in its media . No one can say that the DPRK did not do enough to achieve peace.
Moreover at the Hanoi summit respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the supreme leader apparently offered to shut down the Nyongbyon Nuclear complex (this would have provoked the Facebook ultra left into shouting "sellout !") in return for the lifting of some sanctions . It was the US that rejected it.
If we enter the New Year 2020 with a formal end to the negotiations and a return to the era of 'fire ' and 'fury' , then the US and the US alone will be to blame.
