Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Coming nearer is the moment when fireworks will be displayed in the nocturnal sky of the hopeful New Year with the ringing of the watch-night bell. But the New Year 2020 is not a promising one for every one, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in an article, and goes on:
The capitalist society swept by despair and rage, not hope and happiness, makes us keenly feel once again that the Korean-style socialism is the best in the world.
Hope and happiness, we say, mean those of the people.
If there exist hope and happiness in capitalist countries, they are all for a handful of privileged classes.
Hurrah for the Workers' Party and socialism resound far and wide in our country, when many people let loose a torrent of abuse for having groaned under misgovernment in capitalist countries.
The capitalist society where misanthropy prevails is a graveyard of the popular masses, but the Korean-style socialism is a paradise full of warm love for them.
The DPRK is hard pressed for many things, but its people and children lead a peaceful and stable life. Children's palaces, grand seats of learning for all the people and beautiful streets for the people have been built in excellent locations of the country. Such reality can be possible only under the Korean-style socialism in which everything for the sake of the people is regarded as the most righteous and is given top priority.
Our people consider our-style socialism as the best in the world and are convinced that victory is always in store for the DPRK even in any storm or stress. -0-
