The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) ,the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for the Peace and Reunification in the Korean Peninsula(BSCPRKP today issued a joint statement in support on the Appeal issued by the Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the Kwangju Popular Uprising;
 The Kwangju Popular Uprising of May 1980 was a great anti-fascist ,anti-imperialist resistance struggle of the south Korean people who aspired for an end to the dark military fascist rule of the Chun Do Hwan puppet regime and the oppression of US imperialism .
   The Appeal notes that  "The indomitable spirit of the resistance fighters and their call for justice 39 years ago are still encouraging the south Korean people as an initial explosive of struggle, and their noble intention and desire, still remaining as a pending task, are calling on the people to wage a new struggle."
 Two years ago the despotic and insane Park Geun Hye , the descendant and continuer of previous fascist regimes , was forced out of power by the Candlelight resistance struggle of millions of south Korean people. The ousting of Park Geun Hye from power was a realisation of the desires of those who fall in the struggle for democracy in Kwangju in May 1980. However the fascist Liberty Korea Party (LKP), a remnant of the era of fascist dictatorship in south Korea is trying to revive fascism in south Korea thereby insulting the memory of the Kwangju martyrs.
   The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea(AINDF), the vanguard of the patriotic anti-imperialist forces in south Korea is calling for a struggle against the revival of the reactionary , fascistic conservative forces in south Korea .  The Appeal issued by the AINDF says
that the fascist must be eliminated and punishment must be meted out to it .
  We support the Appeal of the AINDF Central Committee and call for the complete elimination
of the fascist Liberty Korea Party in south Korea  !
