Kim Jong Un's Fixed Will for National Reunification

Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- It is the firm resolve and will of Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the DPRK, to build a unified thriving state in the Korean Peninsula, true to the lifelong intention and behests of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
    In March Juche 101 (2012) Kim Jong Un toured Panmunjom to give strength and courage to all the fellow countrymen desirous of national reunification.
    This inspection was a historic event demonstrating that he, the brilliant Songun (military-first) commander identical to the Generalissimos in pluck and courage, is standing in the van of the struggle for national reunification.
    Cherishing his mission for national reunification, he expressed his fixed will for reunification in a speech made at the military parade celebrating the centenary of Kim Il Sung's birth and in several famous works.
    The supreme leader clarified that the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government would join hands with anyone who truly wants the reunification of the country and the peace and prosperity of the nation and make responsible and persistent efforts for carrying out the historic cause of national reunification. This reflected his noble love for the nation and will for reunification based on the responsibility for the destiny and prospect of the country and the nation.
    His patriotic will to surely realize the lifelong desire of the Generalissimos is also manifested in edifices built in the DPRK. When visiting the Pyongyang Folklore Park before its operation, he said that a miniature of Panmunjom, symbolic of the national division, should be made at the Park so as to make its visitors harden their resolve to reunify the country at any cost.
    In his New Year Address, Kim Jong Un called for bringing a fresh progress in the national reunification movement, true to the behests of the Generalissimos, this year marking the 20th anniversary of Kim Il Sung's last signature on a historic document concerning the country's reunification.
    In response to this call, the DPRK advanced important proposals for improving the north-south relations by united efforts of the Koreans and sent an open letter to the authorities, political parties, social organizations and people of various circles in south Korea.
    Now the Korean people are filled with confidence in the reunification of the country as they have Kim Jong Un as the sun of the nation and the lodestar of national reunification. -0-
