We fully support the statement of the DPRK National Defence Commission of Friday 14th of March . It is long overdue that the US should roll back its hostile policy towards the DPRK , a policy which started in the 20th century and is now continued in the first two decades of the 21st century . US imperialism is the sworn enemy , the inveterate enemy of the Korean people that has tried everything to undermine the socialist system chosen by the people of the DPRK and suffocate the DPRK by various means , denying the independence and sovereignty of the DPRK.
The US imperialists have imposed severe sanctions on the DPRK as well as resorting to military pressure in a desperate bid to achieve "regime change " to topple the Juche-based people centred socialism of the DPRK and impose a capitalist system styled on the US.  The US constantly conducts military exercises aimed at invading the DPRK . In order to end the hostile policy towards the DPRK the US needs to take serious and substantial steps such as ending the nuclear threat to the DPRK , ceasing military exercises in the south of Korea, withdrawing its troops from the south of Korea, ending sanctions against the DPRK and other measures.
The nuclear deterrent of the DPRK is not a "bargaining chip " to secure an improvement of relations with the US nor is it something that can only exist with the permission of the US. It is the US that needs to make the first move not the DPRK as the DPRK has done everything it can to ensure a peaceful atmosphere on the Korean peninsula but these patient peace-loving efforts have been undermined by the US imperialists and south Korean puppets continually stoking up tension in Korea.
Finally the US imperialist must end their dirty "human rights "campaign against the DPRK which is based on false information . It is the independent and sovereign right of the DPRK to take counter-measures against class enemies and agents of imperialism who try overthrow the socialist system of the DPRK by devious means.
Our organisation, the ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA , believe its high time that the US hostile policy towards the DPRK was ended for good.
