ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA slam continuing US-south Korean war provocations

        The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship issued a joint statement reiterating our total opposition to the holding of the Foal Eagle and Key Resolve Exercises in south Korea.;
                                                 We note with due concern that the situation on the Korean peninsula  is hotting up due to the ceaseless provocations of the US imperialists . Recently the US state secretary of state Kerry and former president Bush , a war criminal have  slandered the DPRK  even going as far as to call the DPRK's Juche-based socialist system centred on the popular masses " evil " . This shows that the chieftains of US imperialism do not recognise the independent right of the DPRK and its socialist system. Now the US imperialists and south Korean puppet reactionaries are holding the "Foal Eagle " and "Ssangyong " exercises.  4 US Aegis ships have arrived in south Korea and up to 10,000 US marines will participate. Even the troops of US satellite state Australia will participate . This is a grave challenge to the DPRK and a threat to peace on the Korean peninsula and Asia Pacific regions
                                The DPRK made took a significant number of steps to defuse tension and build a peaceful atmosphere. In his New Year address Marshal Kim Jong Un outlined measures to relax tension , later the National Defence Commission  of the DPRK made crucial proposals and sent an open letter to south Korea. Family reunions were held . However despite these positive measures the south Korean puppets and their US imperialist overlords  decided to push on with the holding of Foal Eagle and Key Resolve from the end of February. These exercises are massive in scale . They are about invading the DPRK and effecting "regime change " by force as they envisage taking control of nuclear facilities in the DPRK and  occupy Pyongyang in case of "emergency in  the  north". This leaves the observer  in little doubt as to the true nature of the exercises ; the a practise operation to invade the DPRK and stifle Juche-based socialism centred upon the popular masses.
                                 It is a lame excuse and a sophistry to claim that the exercises are defensive as they include landing craft which are a means to wage offensive and invasive warfare. It is a nonsensical sophistry to assert that as they are "routine " so do pose a threat. The analogy can be used of a fire drill in an office building or factory , these are not held for the sake of "routine" but as a practice for the real thing . It is the same with "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve ".
                                                                     Last year the extreme warmongering  moves of the US imperialists and the south Korean puppets brought the situation on the Korean peninsula very close to actual war which could have turned into a nuclear catastrophe which would not have been confined to the Korean peninsula or East Asia.
                       Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA , demand that the US imperialists and south Korean puppets do the right thing and cancel Foal Eagle, Key Resolve and Ssangyong  at once ! We call on Juche idea and Songun idea followers to turn out in defence of the DPRK  !
