UK KFA -JISGE and ASSSUK Solidarity with People's Korea Against US imperialism and the UNSC

The UK Korean Friendship Association together with the the Juche Idea Study Group , Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK and the New Communist Party of Britain picketed the US embassy in Grosvenor Square London at  on the 19th of March.
The banner of the UK Korean Friendship Association was put up along with a banner saying "No to UNSC Sanctions" and the flag of the DPRK.
The KFA Official Delegate and chairman of the Juche Idea Study Group made  a speech. He said that the picket had been called to protest against "Foal Eagle " and " Key Resolve" exercises and the UNSC sanctions.  He said that "Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve " are most aggressive exercises which involve over 200,000 troops  and nuclear warheads. Nuclear capable B52  bombers were flying over Korea. "Key Resolve " and "Foal Eagle " are aimed at invading the DPRK , effecting "regime change" and destroying  the  Juche-based socialist system in Korea. "Foal Eagle and " Key Resolve "  risk provoking another Korean war which could quickly turn into a third world war. It is 10 years after the start of the Iraq War but the US has not learnt its lesson.
The UNSC sanctions against the DPRK are most unjust as the DPRK has conducted less than 1% of the nuclear tests in the world but have had sanctions imposed on it. This has been done at the behest of the US and the UNSC is just a puppet of the US.
US imperialism invaded Korea over a 100 years ago and unleashed the Korean War in 1950. It has systematically destroyed the Korean Armistice Agreement which had now nullified by the Korean People's Army. US  imperialism is the sworn enemy of the Korean people . Korea will be reunified under the banner of the Juche idea.
The general secretary of the New Communist Party also addressed the picket.
He said that the US policy of dividing Korea. They had created a despotic fascist regime in south Korea which arrested patriotic pro reunification champions such  as Ro Su Hui

Slogans were shouted they were
US out of Korea
Yankee Go Home
Korea is One
No to Sanctions no to War
Down with US imperialism
Victory to the KPA
Long live the Workes' Party of Korea
Long live Marshal Kim Jong Un

Leaflets were given out and discussion were held with passers and even an American businessman who came out of the Embassy.

Police informed told us not to take photographs of the Embassy's "security station"
The UK Korean Friendship Association held a special meeting  "NO TO US WAR
EXERCISES AND UNSC SANCTIONS  DEFEND THE DPR KOREA" at 7pm on March 16th at the Marchmont Centre , Marchmont Street London. It was attended by members
of the UK KFA, the Juche Idea Study Group, the New Communist Party including
general secretary Andy Brooks and progressive and anti-imperialist people in London.

The KFA Official Delegate and chairman of the Juche Idea Study Group of  England opened the meeting. He said that the meeting had been called because of the seriousness of the US threats against the DPRK  , the US had intensified tension in Korea to such an extent that war could break out at any minute, The speaker explained that as of March 11th the Korean Armistice Agreement has ceased to exist due to the fact that the Korean People's Army had now nullified it. Thus the Korean peninsula is legally in a state of war.
It was explained that the reasons for the nullification of the Korean Armistice Agreement were three-fold. Firstly, the US was holding "Foal Eagle" and " Key Resolve " exercises which are aimed at invading and occupying the DPRK and included not only the US imperialists and south Korean puppets but satellite states of the US participating under the false flag of the "UN Command forces" such as the UK, which was bringing shame and dishonour on the UK by repeating the disgraceful history in the UK when it sent troops in 1950 to fight for the US and prevent the reunification of Korea, Canada, Australia , Denmark and Colombia ( a country well known for repression and right wing dictatorships), Secondly , the US had got the UNSC to adopt sanctions against the DPRK for the satellite launch and nuclear test even though the US itself had both launched satellites and carried out nuclear tests.
It is an extreme act to put sanctions on the DPRK space agency, how would the US have reacted if the USSR had demanded sanctions against NASA during the cold war. Thirdly , the US imperialists had reduced the Korean Armistice to a dead letter by constantly violating it .
The speaker also said that the US imperialists were carrying out
psychological warfare and propaganda against the DPRK by producing films like "Red Dawn " to give people the idea of fighting the DPRK.
UK KFA is not afraid to support a national reunification war of the Korean people. If the US imperialists attack the DPRK then they will fight back and advance southwards driving the US imperialists from the face of Korea , liberating the south and achieving national reunification.

The statement of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army of the 5th of March announcing the intention to nullify the Korean Armistice Agreement was  read out.
The  general secretary of the New Communist Party said it was a crucial task to defend the DPRK. The DPRK has many friends throughout the world . The Communist Parties and socialist countries stand behind the DPRK. Some revisionists and opportunists in the communist movement are not supporting the DPRK.

The film "Arms of Korea  " detailing the military might of the DPRK due to Songun politics, The documentary "Pyongyang -A City of Free Education " was shown  which detailed the advantages of the socialist education system of the DPRK.
Questioners from the floor asked about university education in the DPRK and the possibility to study in the DPRK. Others speaking from the floor said that the American film "Red Dawn" is a rubbish remake of a 1980s cold war film  so that no-one will go to see it
The KFA Official  stressed the superiority of the people-centred socialist system in the DPRK and the need to defend it. He stressed the need to send big delegations from the UK to go and see the celebrations in July . He also called for support for the picket of the US embassy on March 19th.
A  UK KFA activist also stressed the picket of the US Embassy.
He appealed for an expansion of the KFA's membership and for more members to become active in the KFA.
A resolution was adopted . The points were

  •  No to "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve" !These must be cancelled immediately,
  • No to UK participation in these exercises and withdrawal of any UK military forces in south Korea
  • Withdrawal of US troops from Korea
  • The UNSC sanctions against the DPRK to be revoked completely and at once

The meeting concluded at 9.10pm. Coffee , tea and biscuits were served.
