CPRK Spokesman Reviles S. Korea for Taking Lead in Passage of Anti-DPRK "Human Rights Resolution"

Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) issued the following statement Sunday:
The south Korean puppet group is stepping up human rights racket against the DPRK in alignment with the U.S.
Its despicable behavior at a session of the UN Human Rights Council on March 21 for the passage of a "resolution on human rights" against the DPRK shocked all people.
The puppet group took even human scum to the Council, soliciting it to take part in the racket, saying that "resolution on human rights in the north should not just end in a dead document", "steps should be taken to take the north's human rights issue to the International Criminal Court for prosecution" and "a committee of inquiry should be set up".
They even slandered the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, when talking about "investigation into human rights situation", a hideous provocation.
The CPRK, together with all fellow countrymen vehemently denounces with great indignation the puppet group's bid for the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" as a serious provocation and an unpardonable confrontation racket against the DPRK.
The UN Human Rights Council has long been reduced to a marionette plotting schemes for the U.S. which has been engrossed in interfering in the internal affairs of other countries and committing politically-motivated terrorism.
The U.S. and the puppet group now move to make an armed intervention in the DPRK over its human rights issue, not content with their moves for a nuclear war against it.
Human rights precisely mean state right.
In the DPRK, a socialist country centering on the popular masses, there does not exist human rights abuses and they can not exist.
It is exactly south Korea which is plagued with most serious human rights problems.
After reducing south Korea into its colony, the U.S., together with the puppet group, turned it into a theatre for free-for-all under fascist dictatorship and a veritable hell of democracy and human rights. They are not entitled to talk about "human rights issue" in the DPRK.
The UN should first call to account the serious human rights abuses in south Korea, and the U.S. and the puppet group who made south Korea a barren land of human rights.
However, the U.S. and the puppet group have stepped up smear campaign against the human rights in the DPRK, a desperate effort to evade a shameful defeat in the nuclear standoff with the DPRK and invent a pretext for invasion and pressure.
The army and people of the DPRK are hardly repressing towering resentment at the adoption of anti-DPRK "human rights resolution", a product of nefarious political plot and an extension of hostile policy.
They are hardening their will to mercilessly punish the enemies while taking particularly serious note of the campaign that has been kept up even after the emergence of a new regime in south Korea.
They are keeping close tabs on the U.S. and its allies and will certainly force them to pay for their smear human rights campaign against the DPRK.
The U.S. and the puppet group should clearly understand that hurting the DPRK over its human rights is a challenge to its social system and dignity, and its army and people will never tolerate such moves.
We will certainly settle accounts with those who infringe even a bit on the dignity of our supreme leadership and the socialist system which we value dearer than our own lives.
We will mercilessly sweep away the group of worst hooligans including those of the "Saenuri Party" which took the lead in fabricating the UN "resolution on human rights". -0-
