Appeal to the
entire nation
Dear fellow
countrymen!
Now the Korean Peninsula
is on the eve of the outbreak of war owing to the adventurous Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military maneuvers of the south Korean and U.S.
warlike forces.
Look at the sky,
sea and land!
The sky of south
Korea is engulfed in black smoke released by the U.S. fighters including F-22
Raptors and B-52H strategic bombers and the US Aegis destroyers are involved in
the drills to inflict nuclear disaster upon the Koreans. A ten thousand US
troops and more than two hundred thousand south Korean army verse themselves in
war plan against north Korea, while firing bullets and bombs at random. The
exercises are participated in by five vassal countries including U.K and
Australia.
The U.S. regards
it as its primary goal to put the whole of the Korean Peninsula under its
control in a bid to secure a bridgehead for landing in the Eurasian continent, inciting
a fratricidal war. It also seeks a way out of a serious economic crisis at home
in unleashing the second Korean War.
The conservative
authorities, a group of traitors, unaware of what cunning U.S. has in mind, are
crying out for the dismantlement of nukes and halt to provocation as dictated
by their master. They move like a robot and repeat anything like a parrot.
To cope with the
grave situation prevailing in Korea, a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the
Korean People's Army, a spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the
Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea issued heavy measures in
succession to solemnly declare that it will exercise the right to a preemptive
nuclear attack to destroy the strongholds of the aggressors and to defend the
supreme interests of the country.
It is a perfectly
correct action to defend national sovereignty and dignity from war provocation
of the US and its servant south Korean warlike force and achieve national
reunification, the desire of the Korean nation.
What the US going
to unleash a war against north Korea is nuclear war.
There is no chance
of survival in the war.
It shudders to
think of it. We are sleepless with heartache.
Dear fellow
countrymen!
Our lives are in
constant danger.
Smash war moves of
the bellicose south Korean and U.S. forces through a nationwide drive.
The U.S.
advertises that its presence provides a sure guarantee for the south Koreans’
lives.
Look back upon the
past Korean War.
The U.S. killed
millions of the innocent Koreans in cold blood, shooting at and dropping bombs
on them.
Bloodstain of the
innocent people killed by the GIs can be seen in every parts of south Korea
including Nogeun-ri, Geochang and Masan. Recent disturbance committed by the US
soldiers in Seoul showed us that the US soldiers are a group of beasts seeking
pleasure in shooting the south Koreans as a moving target.
If a war breaks
out, it is as plain as a pikestaff that the GIs would rain shot and shell upon
the Koreans. Moreover, they would devastate this land with nukes.
What the U.S.
wants is not the lives of the south Koreans but the territory of the Korean
Peninsula.
The US has already
worked out the evacuation plan of Americans in south Korea.
It is asking for
suicide to entrust the south Korean people’s lives to the U.S.
The U.S. army
presence leads to disaster and war.
Do not fall an
easy prey to the U.S. deception.
Frustrate the war
maneuvers of the U.S.
Peace and national
reunification are guaranteed without the U.S. troops.
Banish the USFK,
disturber of peace and war maniacs, to America.
Divert the
people’s blood tax running through for upkeep of the USFK and purchase of the
U.S.-made weapons of mass destruction to public welfare.
Resolutely reject the
war maneuvers of the pro-U.S. warlike elements.
It is the U.S.
scheme to incite a fratricidal war by egging the south Korean warlike force to get
on north Korea’s nerves.
The south Korean
bellicose military maniacs are traitors to the nation who behave under tricks
of the U.S., regardless of the destiny of the nation.
Stand the warlike
military force that is going to unleash war with rifles supplied from the U.S.
in the court of history.
Sternly punish the
bellicose force that freely wags their tongues.
Deal sledgehammer
blow at provocation of the thoughtless belligerent military force with the
sharpest vigilance.
Officers and
soldiers of the south Korean army!
Turn your rifles
on the GIs!
Launch the
struggle for peace against war across south Korea.
It would be a
fatal mistake to think that prevailing situation would not lead to a war. The
war looms ahead by the US and south Korean warlike forces.
Dear fellow
countrymen!
No one but you
should prevent war and secure peace.
Dear workers!
The right to
existence is impossible without peace.
Rise up as one in
the struggle against war in unity.
Dear women!
Join your efforts
against the war drills against north Korea to keep lives of your sons and
daughters serving in the south Korean army.
Dear minor traders
and manufacturers!
Peace guarantees a
safe business.
Resolutely reject
the south Korea-U.S. joint military exercises against north Korea that would
invite bankruptcy.
Civic
organizations!
Develop the drive
against war into the withdrawal of the USFK and purge of the south Korean
bellicose force.
Dear youth!
Be a
standard-bearer of the nation in the campaign against the U.S. and war with the
spirit of April 19, 1960.
Dear fellow
countrymen!
Wipe away the
aggressive forces through a nationwide resistance to achieve the great cause of
national reunification, if the U.S. and south Korean belligerent forces ignite
the fuse of war against north Korea, in disregard of the will of the
people.
The AINDF is
convinced that the whole nation, fully aware of their noble responsibility and
honorable mission for the time and history, would turn out in the drive against
the U.S. and war.
